Alyssa Crawford’s work focuses on health care quality, population health, and program improvement. She currently supports Mathematica’s efforts to bring innovative solutions to private health care sector clients.
Crawford has led or contributed to a variety of qualitative and quantitative research, evidence synthesis, stakeholder engagement, and peer-to-peer learning projects. She conducted analyses, facilitated webinars, and developed written products to support collaborative learning among Next Generation Accountable Care Organizations; developed and tested provider-level clinical quality measures using data from electronic health records, registries, and Medicare claims; and gathered input from experts and other stakeholders on topics pertaining to state and local safety net programs, health system data needs, and other urgent policy issues.
Crawford, who joined Mathematica in 2011, holds an M.S.P.H. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and is certified in public health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
